Gotta crush and I need some help

So I wouldn't typically do this, but I need to present this story to some people who don't know me or the guy. I have this crush on one of my guy friends. We've known each other for a couple years now and I have developed some feelings. I met him through my best friend, because they are really good friends. I'm afraid to tell my friends, I don't know what they'll think about it. He also just started dating another girl, but my friends and I both agree that they won't last. I also see him a lot and we share a lot of the same friends and I don't want to make it awkward! Any advice as to what I should do? Should I tell my friends? I have like kept this bottled up for a long time now and it feels so good to finally get it off my chest 😂
