Have you ever lost your house key before?

Just lost one of the keys to my house and my mom is really paranoid that someone might try to break in... even though I lost it miles away from the house, and I live in a big city... Have you ever lost an important key? I’m just trying to make myself fell better...

if you’re that concerned, change the locks! you can get them at any home store & theyre suuuuuuper easy to switch out! 
but if it makes you feel better, my sister threw her house key somewhere on our street (bc she’s a lil shit) but no one ever broke in. i’m sure no one actually has the patience to try and find what house that key belongs to & if they did i’m sure they’d get caught before actually finding the right house.

yes when i was 18 or 19 i lost my entire lanyard with my car keys and the keys to my house (lived with parents at the time) my parents were also paranoid and got every lock re keyed and made every door adifferent lock. gave me the key to one door 😂 never found them either. i also lost my wallet and never found it. dont worry though. it sucks in the moment and parents get pissed but life goes on!

Yes. One time in the summer between my junior and senior years of high school, my friend decided he wanted to get more fit. We started walking places with him instead of driving. Well he and another friend came to pick me up one day and the 3 of us decided to walk through the woods for some reason. I lost my house key on the way back to my house. 🤦🏽‍♀️My mom was so mad, but we got a new key made and so far no one has broken in with it lol. It’s been 5 and a half years
