Would you buy a pre owned phone?

Just like the refurbished phones that Apple sells, the pre owned ones are fully tested to ensure they are 100% functional and there is no issues with them. However, because they are pre owned they might have a few visual flaws and they are sold £100-£200 cheaper than a brand new one. Would you get one or would you spend the extra cash for a brand new one? I’m trying to save up for a new phone and I don’t know what to do

Yes!! I am so tired of making payments on phones for years and then owning a piece of crap. Moving forward I plan on buying outright an older phone. It’ll be newer than the one I’m still paying on.

I bought one and it is basically brand new from apple the outside is new just not the outside but I bought it last year and I will only buy used phones from apple and if anything goes wrong in a year they will replace the inside not the outside for free

Yes but only if it was through Apple or Verizon. Typically, people can turn in their old phones and keep them flawless because they want the trade in.

Depends on who the phone is with.. Verizon, Sprint, etc. I’m with Verizon & I’d definitely buy a refurbished one thru them, they have an awesome warranty. I used to be with Sprint & no way I’d be one of theirs. The warranty sucks.

Yes I bought one 3 years ago and it worked fine. The only reason why I got a new one is cuz I dropped that one and shattered the screen 🤦🏻‍♀️ it still works and it’ll be 4 years since I got it.

I had one before. Not really worth it, imo. It lasted 11 months and I took great care of it. This is the first smartphone I’ve had brand new, and it’s still treating me so well. I’ve had it since August 2016.
The price of refurbished phones is what drew me in, but it really wasn’t worth $300 for a phone that didn’t last long. The warranty was also only 3 months.

oh if its refurbished then its totally cool with me. most of the time they dont even have flaws besides some small scratches on the screen or scratches on the metal

If I can't afford the extra cash for a new one, I'd get the refurbished if the guarantee was on paper and it's warrantied.
