Offended?

Serious question why do pregnant women get offended if someone says "OMG you're so big" or "you look you're about to pop". Like I don't think it's meant to sound rude. They are just talking about your stomach that has a little human in it. I love it when my husband rubs my stomach and some days he says "Aww baby you're getting so big" he tells me all the time that it's so cute seeing my belly grow

I never understood this either. I LOVED it when people would comment on my growing belly because it meant my son was growing! Being pregnant is not the same as being fat because there’s a baby in there! People are to sensitive.

I think people get offended if they see themselves as being too big or too small for where they are at in their pregnancy. Someone saying something like “you look like you’re about to pop!” To someone that still has three months left to go can stir up a lot of insecurity.

Only my family annoys me lol because they literally mock the way I️ walk and touch my belly saying stuff like “ew omg it’s so tight” or just things that actually are rude 🙄 as for strangers I’m just kinda like “haha yeah”

For one thing I think that of course people are a little overly sensitive. I see people complain on here because someone told them they look so small for being pregnant. The solution is that people shouldn't be commenting on the size of your body during pregnancy at all.
