should I get the iud

I recently stared being sexually active.. The guy I am with likes it raw but I don't cause I'm scared of pregnancy. I started the pill but is not as effective as an iud. We have sex with a condom to but Idk why it slips of him and that scares me . I want to be more active with him. I heard it hurts and it messes you up bit I like the convenience of knowing is there and is super effective
