Late period

Hello everyone, my period is always llate by a few days even sometimes weeks. I dont like thinking I’m pregnant because It gets my hopes up and then when I take a pregnancy test or my period comes I get upset. It was suppose to come on Jan 27th. Should I take a pregnancy test? Im scared lol
