I don’t see a future & I don’t know what to say.

I’ve been trying to go out with a his guy for 3 years but we’ve had issues bc he’s my brothers friend. Recently we’ve been talking again but the more we talk the more I don’t see a future. He’s not going to college when he graduates this year and I’m leaving when I graduate next school year and on top of that he wants to go to the military which means we won’t have much time with each other before he goes. I’m not saying that because he’s going to the military we can’t work out because we could. But I feel like there’s no future. What do y’all think
