Pill break after a few months. Necessary?
Hey girls! So I have a question. I was on the pill for about a year and a half and then stopped taking it after I broke up with my ex. I had heard from someone that it’s recommended to stop taking the pill after about 4 years of taking it, for at least one year, or else it would give you problems of some sort.
So I thought, that’s great, I’ll take my break now that I don’t need it and start again from zero someday.
Well, it’s someday now. It’s almost been a year for but exactly.
Basically, I just want to know, how true is this? If I start taking the pill again (because I HATE condoms) will I have to take another break in four years?
I cannot go back to condoms, ever.
Will it still be super effective? Convince me!
