Job options?

So I’ve always wanted to work in a hospital but I don’t think I can afford 4 years of nursing school, any other job options I could go to school for to help me get a job in something medical? (Not CNA please!)

Phlebotomist — most programs are one semester and not to much in cost. I work for a technical college and our program is 1 semester 3 hrs a day and it is a little less then $2000 for the program. Usually phlebotomist get paid more then cna or cma. Another would be emergency Medical Technician another short program that can get you a job right away.

Why not a Surgical Technologist? Basically your the one during the surgery that hands the head surgeon all of the instruments.

You can do two years of nursing and then do bsrn and a lot of hospitals will pay for it. I’m an X-ray / ct tech and that was two years

I am an RN. I went to school to get my associate’s degree first and then got a job in a hospital and they paid for me to continue schooling to get my BSN. Much cheaper!!

Where I live, there’s a college that allows me to go to school for about 7 months and STILL graduate with the same certification as a degree student at a university!
