Sore gums ?

My bubba is only 11 weeks old but for the last 2 days he’s been more sleepy and a little wingy. He’s had a very slight temp (37.2) and has got rosy red hot cheeks.

He’s been dribbling a little bit and putting his fist in his mouth which he’s been doing for a while so I can’t be sure it’s related.

Is it too early? Is it worth getting some teething gel for his gums even if it’s not his gums??? What do I do 😫
