Spontaneous bleeding

So last night as I was cooking dinner I felt a gush down in my lady parts. I went to check what it was and I had started bleeding, kind of heavy. Mind you, my period ended about a week ago. This has never happened to me before, has this happened to anyone else? *I should also mention I have an IUD but I’ve had it for almost 3 years now*
