provera question, this may not be the right group..

hi ladies, my doctor put me on provera this cycle and starting clomid next cycle. my question is, can I stop taking the provera before the 10 days are up? I'm honestly not positive why my doctor put me on provera in the first place. my cycles are usually 15-18 days apart. I needed clomid last time to get pregnant but he's never put me on provera and now I'm realizing it's supposed to delay period? ugh! not liking this.

so basically, can I stop taking before the 10 days are up. I started taking it less than a week ago. I think I'm on day 5 maybe? but either way, any input would be helpful.
