I want to have a baby

so I haven't started my period in like 2 months, so I was really hoping that maybe I could be pregnant. well I took a test today and it came back negative. I'm really sad that there wasn't a little baby brewing, I wanted a little mini version of my husband running around. I'm so so disappointed.
