Labor symptoms?

I’m 34+1 and have been having irregular BH contractions all day. Now I’ve got nausea/diahrrea and have had horrible lower back pain the past two days. I’m a FTM and not sure what’s normal. Any advice?

Before 35 weeks, if you’re having more than 4 contractions an hour, and it doesn’t improve by going pee, changing your activity (like resting if it started while you were being active), and hydrating. You should at least call your OB. Mine told me to go into and be checked/monitored. After 35 weeks, if you start labor naturally, generally they’ll let you go and give birth. Babies at that gestation generally do fine, when labor starts on its own, and might need an extra day in the hospital for observation.

It’s hard to say! It definitely could be labor but those symptoms are also so hard pregnancy joys that come and go. Keep an eye on your contractions! Time them to see if they become regular. There are a lot of apps that are useful for this too. I know this isn’t the direct yes or no answer you’re looking for but it’s just so hard to say. Good luck mama!
