Is your faith accepting of non-cis genders and non-straight relationships?

Question

I'm a gender fluid person in a relationship with a trans person and we both practice Wiccanism. Some covens follow a very male/female based practice that heavily relies on cis and straight dynamics, but others (like ours) are incredibly open and accepting and we like to pay respects to deities notorious for their sexuality or bending of appearance *cough*looking at you Loki*cough*
So I'm curious what the situation is like for others of other religions. And of course I know that there are many different belief systems a single religion can have, I would just like to hear people's personal experience.
And remember, this is an open discussion. If you grew up in a way where your faith disallowed gay relations and such, I want to hear about it so long as you aren't behaving rudely or offensively. And for everyone else reading a situation like that, if they are being nice so should you; not everyone was raised liberally and some people may be trying to reach out and learn about a life that they were never allowed to explore before.
All in all, let's be respectful and learn about eachother!

Yep. I attend a welcoming and inclusive Christian Church. One of our deacons is even an out lesbian woman. We work to follow the words of Jesus, not the modern political interpretation.

I was brought up a Jehovah’s Witness and we go by the teachings of the Bible. We use the New World Translation which we believe is the most accurate translation of the Bible. In it, we are taught that God created man and woman to be as a couple, and that same sex relationships are wrong in the eyes of God so members of our faith make an educated and conscious decision to refrain from engaging in such relationships or supporting them in any way.
We believe in the Bible’s promise of a new system where everyone will know and worship the one true God and live according to his standards and principles.

I grew up, am still growing up in a religion that isn't ok with lgbt people and relationships. Since I'm technically still a member of the church, my "faith" doesn't support lgbt people, but I do. It really hurts me, because I'm one of those people they say are wrong, they say my friends are wrong, and that sucks. It sucks when you're told that who you are is wrong for your whole life.  It's scary when you realize that you're one of the people you were taught to hate.

Yes, we are actually going through a lot of this discussion in the United Methodist (a Christian) church. So basically the church supports that maybe they don't always get things right so there's not really a set of rules or beliefs. But there's a sort of guidelines that gets voted on and approved every few years. Right now the guide says every person regardless of orientation should be welcomed and loved (which is most important) but officially it's a sin. That's changing now, potentially, as discussions are going around that it shouldn't be classified as a sin and the whole section should be rewritten as just "welcome everyone".
