How many of you ladies didn't get a damn thing for Valentine's Day yesterday even though you have a SO and gave them a gift? 🙋🏻 Why does my husband do this to me all the time? Am I just too fat and ugly to deserve a thoughtful Valentine's/Christmas/birthday present? It's like at this point he's just TRYING to hurt me...😔

you shouldnt EXPECT a gift. you arent entitled to one. js. its probably not anything to do with you either. I didn't get shit because my husband cant afford to even buy groceries this week. and last year I didnt get anything because he was busy paying for our wedding so something else is probably going on, not that youre fat or don't deserve it,

My hubby hates valentines. It’s a commercialized holiday strictly to make money. But, in generally he is a very thoughtful gift giver, so I know this is truly the reason. I have him a chocolate bar. I do secretly hope every year for a surprise, but I know how he feels and understand it.

I got my husband flowers and a stuffed axolotl,  a creature we both love and hope to set up our 100 gallon tank to have some.  Of course I also got him a card.  He only got me a card and told me because we've been so worried about money,  I was on leave 2 wks then only worked part time for 2 week's,  he sick with what we said about not getting each other anything.  The one time he actually listens to me and its that lol

we didn't get each other anything, we just went out to eat and went for a walk. if you've told him how you feel and he won't change, then stop putting up with him. but if you expect your man to be a mind reader, they aren't. tell him what you want.

My husband basically gets anxiety about getting gifts or something. There have been many times that I didn't get a gift for something, and IF I get a gift he either gets it at the very last minute, or after I've already given his gift. he's just very different about gifting than I am, and it's hard to not think that it's me, but there is a high probability that's it's about him and not you at all! I'd just say have a chat with him. I know none of us want to seem greedy, but sometimes it does feel like they don't care, and they have no idea we feel that way!
