Ovarian cyst but pain is on wrong side any ideas?

Okay so this is my first post but honestly I am really confused and want your opinions. (this is going to be alittle long sorry 😬) So 2 weeks ago I got like a stomach bug or somthing it only lasted two days but I had stabbing pain on my right side and was naseous and have not been eating.That stayed so after a few days i got worried about it and wanted to make sure it wasnt appendicitis. And so I went in and got an ultra sound and they found an ovarian cyst.....on my left side but my pain is on my right....The pain now is on and off stabbing, with pressure thats constant and and it feels like a bruse that someone is pushing on. last night we where worried because its been 2 weeks and I am staying the same if not worse so we went to the ER and they did the same test (6hours😪) and said they didnt know whats wrong and the only change is the cyst got slightly bigger. So they sent me home And they didnt find anything else wrong...So I guess im asking what do yall thing it is?
