Is too much Tylenol bad during pregnancy?

I have strep throat and got prescribed amoxicillin late last night so I’ve only had two doses of amoxicillin but my fever has been high, around 101.4 and finally it broke this morning but now it’s high again. I take Tylenol every 4-6 hours and I’m 9 weeks pregnant. Is that too much Tylenol to take while pregnant? TIA!

I'm always cautious with meds while pregnant so when I have to take tylenol I use one pill (half dose) of the extra strength when needed. The extra strength always works better for me and only taking half a dose makes me feel better about having to use it.

So long as you're not exceeding the recommended dose on the package (check the recommended dose/24h) it's fine.

It's a choice between the Tylenol Or the fever. I'd personally choose the Tylenol. But try other ways to break your fever like Luke warm baths. When the fever lets up obviously stop the Tylenol
