Letrozole=let me down?

Question

Don't really know what to think. AF started Feb.3rd. Took Letrozole 5mg from the 5-9th (CD 3-7). I've been using OPKs since Sunday the 11th (CD 9) and still not even a hint of a line. These tests are supposed to be the line or no line to detect LH surge, but also show that faint lines do not indicate a surge. I get nothing. Am I out? Would Letrozole push my ovulation back? keeping in mind I usually have a 28-29 day cycle and my last one I was 10 days late for AF. So would that have anything to do with it? HELP!!!!!!!!

I’m in the same situation. And I also had break through bleeding around CD8-10. My RE said it happens because our estrogen drops so low from the letrozole but nothing to be worried about, hopefully FSH is increasing and growing follicles. It’s important the follicle takes time to mature otherwise an abrupt increase can cause issues. I’m on CD 13 and still haven’t ovulated, but I still have hope! If your cycle is typically about 29 days it’s normal not to ovulate yet. My RE also told me it doesn’t matter which day I O, but pay attention to the luteal phase and make sure that’s at least 12 days.  Just try to eat as healthy as possible, minimize stress, and stay active so blood flows to your ovaries!
