Should children who have no lunch money be refused lunch?

I saw this topic come up on Facebook and was wondering y’alls opinions

Here’s mine:

While it’s the parents job to put money in their child’s account, or send them with a lunch, not every parent is able to do so.

Lunch may be the only meal this child gets so I definitely believe children should be given the same lunch as other kids who do not have money. You can’t punish kids for their parents faulty choices....

I was pretty surprised by how many people said children should be refused lunch because they didn’t have the money.
