Turbo Tax???

Looking into turbo tax this year rather than my usual tax preparer because he charges $40 and turbo tax is free. I'm a little unsure of it and just wondering if anyone has tried it. What was your experience with it? thank you!!

I have used it every year. I choose to pay for it, along with identity protection though.

My hubby and I have used TurboTax the last 3 years, we love it. It's super easy and we seem to get more back than the guy we used before.

This is our second year using it and it’s pretty simple. 
It’s cheapest at Costco. We have to get the premium one because of our extra forms.
We bought it for $54, it’s free to file federal and $19.99 for state. If you want to buy the protection it’s another $40. We always add it and it gets taken out in the return. 
We use to go to H&R; and they used to charge us like $400+ it was getting ridiculous. This is a lot easier and cheaper.

I use it every year. The app is super friendly to use too and most W-2’s you can upload with just a snapshot.

Technically it's not free, they just take the fee out of your return, and there is an option for a protection plan but costs extra, in my opinion it's worth it.

I got more with a tax preparer. We pay $100 but I wasn’t happy with my return from tax act and turbo tax
