Too much swelling?

Is this much ankle/calf swelling normal for 23 weeks? I’m also starting to get some discoloration on the left side of my left ankle. Did this happen to you this early?

This looks like the early stages of preeclampsia. Elevate your feet, watch your stress level, and definitely contact your docs.

I would contact your drs and maybe even the on call dr. Prop your legs up and stay off them. I had that happen towards the end of pregnancy and they had me go to the hospital to be evaluated and my bp was up.

Uh noo.... you need to see a doctor about that. Leaving it untreated if it is preeclampsia is very dangerous! Not saying thats what it is, but if it is that then you and your doctor need to figure out a plan and Heath regiment for the remainder of your pregnancy. My sister had severe preeclampsia both pregnancies, she was constantly in the hospital almost once a week due to it. I do t know how or why the doctor never put her on bed rest. She had both babies early because they didn’t want it getting any worse than it was, first at 38 weeks the second at I wanna say 34-35 weeks.
