High school freshmen advice??

I'm going to be a freshmen in a couple months and I'm freaking out because I'm been homeschooled all threw middle school I'm a 8th grader and I'm afraid because I'm antisocial and have anxiety which causes me to freak out but on the other hand I'm going to be with my sister and my closest friend the other thing I'm worried about is my grades I'm also don't know how to be myself and I'm really quiet please someone reassure me with advice😞

It will take some time to adjust to a new environment, especially since you’ve been home schooled for quite a while but give it a few weeks and you’ll see you will be fine! Stick to your closest friend and your sister as you will feel more comfortable and don’t force yourself to fit in or do anything to impress other people, because it doesn’t help your mental state! If I’ve learnt anything, it’s that when you are comfortable you begin to find friends and improve your grades. Honestly you’ll be fine!! Don’t stress yourself out too much over school like I did. I forced myself to try and fit in with groups that didn’t work for me. The most important thing is to put aside popularity and social status’ and try and find people that you feel comfortable around, and you know will support you 💓💞

hi!! im currently a senior and lemme tell you it’s quite the time. you will have ups and downs but dont worry any at all about that! what is most important is YOU. taking care of YOU. i have shuffled between soooo many different friend groups based off of similar classes but still am close with many of them. guy wise, go with your gut. if there is a popular guy that everyone knows just wants to hook up with you because you are a freshman, it might not be the greatest idea! ALSO something that is sooo important i learned a little too late :( but still is that you are in charge of yourself. there is nobody that cant ake that away from you. if you are uncomfortable or not ready to do something, DONT DO IT. be smart with your choices, whatever they might be. lmk if you want to know anything specific either guys, academic, or sports wise! i live in the US in the northeast if that gives any perspective, but it might be different elsewhere! :)
