Implant - first month period??

So i got the implant one month ago the day after my last period day. My calander said my period was supposed to come on the 13th this week, and yesterday and today ive only had spotting of older blood and minor cramps but thats it. Can i expect this to be my ‘period’ from now on?? if yes im stoked as i used to get terrible cramping the first two days of my period. Help me out
