Virginity?

I am still a virgin and I plan to lose it in a couple months. I’m losing to the man who I want to spend the rest of my life with. He and I have talked about it and are both ready. We have protection and what not but I really want to MAKE SURE I do not get pregnant. I don’t know what to do afterward so if y’all could help me out it would be extremely helpful.
Edit: I kinda know how this works but I didn’t have a sex Ed so I am a little lost. If you have any tips that would also be extremely appreciated. Thanks!

A couple months isn’t enough time to get on birth control, it doesn’t hurt to have a plan b just in case the condom slips or rips.
Make sure condoms are not expired
Lube!!! Lots of lube!! Dry condoms are more likely to tear, buy a bottle from the drugstore.
You can also plan the timing to not have sex during your fertile window
It’s fun, it’s an experience! However don’t expect much your first time, sex won’t get good until you’re doing it with the same person for a little while. It’ll be fumbley and awkward but its a human experience so enjoy it anyways (:

Well get on birth control as soon as you can (if you can) use protection and if something goes wrong ( like it slips off or rips) get a plan B (a pill you can take within 72 hours of your encounter to prevent pregnancy)

There’s so much to learn about sex. Ovulation, protection, STDs all of it. So your best bet is to go to the planned parenthood website. They have all the sex education there.
