Can stress really make it this late?

So my girlfriend and I had sex about 3 times this month of course with protection the entire time. I buy new condoms every month and keep them in a good environment. Yet her period is late by 6 days she took a pregnancy test on the 5th late day and it read negative. She says she's been really stressed and that has to be the reason but can't recall if anything of the sorts has ever happened before.

Stress can definitely be a factor for a late period. Tell her to to just relax, even though it’s scary when a period is late there are a lot of different things that can cause a cycle to be late!

My stress has made me skip a month 🤷🏼‍♀️ which is unhealthy for the mind lol but it can definitely delay for a long time.

The more you worry about it, the worse it will be. Just relax and it will come.
