Beach trip at 35-36 weeks pregnant?

I planned and already paid for a beach trip before I knew I was pregnant. It’s not until July  but I’m so worried because I’ll be there while I’m 35-36 weeks pregnant. This beach is 8 hours away from where I live. I’ve already paid for it so I can’t cancel. Anyone else go on vacation this far along??

Where's the beach?  If there's a Zika risk, most places will refund you with confirmation of pregnancy.  Plus most airlines won't let you fly at 36w+.  
Otherwise, I'm 32w along and can only say that I can't imagine enjoying any kind of trip at this point.  So if it was me, I'd try to cancel or sell it. But everyone is different.

My doctor said my cut off for traveling  is 32 weeks no exceptions. I would check with your doctor first.

My doctor has okayed a trip about 10 hours away and I'll be 33-34 weeks.  I'd just ask your doctor

I’m going on vacation when baby will be anywhere from 3weeks to a month old depending on when he decides to arrive. 🤷🏼‍♀️ people are telling me not to go, its to soon, baby shouldn’t go far from home till they are 4-5 months old 🙄😒 I’m still going. We’ll be about 4/5 hours away from home and I’m looking forward to it! Regarding your baby the worst that happens is you deliver at a different hospital and your there longer than planned 🤷🏼‍♀️ just bring some baby essentials just in case( diapers, wipes, an outfit, and car seat at a minimum) and you’ll be fine!

I didn’t go on vacation but I drove 2+ hours and then took a train into Boston for a concert that lasted about 5-6 hours and then 3+ hours back home. I was 37 weeks 😅

I wouldn’t go that pregnancy and that far from my hospital. My obgyn would be pissed if I went that far and I’m not even high risk.
