Traveling during the 1st trimester? ✈️

I'm trying to get pregnant again and I was planning on going to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 in June. If I get a BFP in march or anytime before June - is it safe to go on a plane? I want to purchase my tickets this week. But scared I will get pregnant before that and it's not safe.  So is it safe? Has anyone done it?

Only thing I would watch out for is Zika down there. I dont know how bad it is there, but when I went to Punita Cana there were warnings everywhere. And if you’re not pregnant by then and you’re SO goes, you should wait 6 months for the possibly infected sperm to clear out

Canceling my Puerto Rico trip. I think it's for the best. Thank you girls so much for saving me from who knows what out there. I don't want to take a chance or go over there and stress the entire trip. 😘 thank you girls

I did throughout my pregnancy and was just fine. It’s safe to travel during ur pregnancy especially in the beginning but towards the end of it ur doc may give limitations but that’s about it

I went to the ob clinic this morning and spoke to the nurse about the Zika virus. She just said to watch out for it. 😒 that in the carribeans you have to be careful for the virus. I asked "okay. It specifically Puerto Rico... how is it there?" She didn't know she said 😕 then I asked if we don't get pregnant by then can we come back and get blood work done to test if we got infected before we start trying again? She said only if I feel symptoms because they would t check otherwise. So I asked "even if I'm trying to get pregnant and want to make sure it's safe to do so?" Man it was a little irritating speaking to someone who I thought would know and obviously doesn't.

It's safe to travel, but you'll need to both take precautions against Zika

Just went on the CDC website 😩 sheesh... I have to wait 6 month after we arrive to try again. I'm going to have to put my TTC on hold..... sheesh... this sucks. So basically try again pretty much next yr.... 😤
