Comparing Christianity to Mental Illness acceptable?
I found it a little surprising that there wasn't a big uproar about Joy Behar calling Christians who talk to God mentally ill. I think if she were to have said that about any other group of people and/or religion, she would have had to resign. Is her comment acceptable? Does she have a point? Does speaking to a higher power equate to a mental illness? Or is that different? How so?
