When can you start DTD?

Had my ectopic and right tube removed a week ago, wondering how long you waited until you DTD next?

I’m assuming DTD means “do the deed” and I think we waited about 2 or 3 weeks but my doctor said to wait 4.

We waited two weeks and I ended up pregnant lol. I had taken an pregnancy test before which was negative. But I made sure my body was okay as we had tried a week after surgery and I was still sore and not ready just yet.
