Lip and Tongue Tie

I’m wondering if baby is struggling with either of these. I have been nursing baby since day one and baby has been gaining weight consistently. Latches well, and there are many times when I don’t hear clicking or baby comes off the breast...then there are other times were baby doesn’t latch all that great, will come off the breast and make clicking noises. Sometimes I wonder if it’s just because baby is not really wanting to nurse but uses it to soothe.

The pediatrician that we see is a lactation consultant and during babies 2 month visit doctor said everything looked and checked out perfectly. I’m wondering if the lip/tongue tie is something we both (doctor and I) overlooked at that last visit.

Baby is able to stick tongue out and I’ve also noticed times were babies tongue touches the roof of the mouth. Should I schedule to take baby in for this, or wait until 4 month check up if baby doesn’t seem bothered? Thank you in advance ladies
