Scared to raise a child in this world?

It may just be my high anxiety but with all the hate and everyone focusing on the negative it scares me to raise her in this world.. A lot of how people are is learned. I don’t want her to see this hatefulness and sadness. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want her to be ignorant. I want her to grow up happy and hopefully. I grew up sad and had no hope of a good life. I still struggle to focus on the good but it’s hard when everyone is focused on the bad and arguing stupid opinions instead of fixing anything....

just surround your baby with your love and a happy safe home. in my opinion as long as a child has a safe loving place to come home to that can over power a lot of hate they see in the world

It is scary! We can only protect our children to a certain point. You sound like a caring person, and I am sure that will transfer to your children. When they are little it is our job to love them and nurture them and make sure they are growing properly. When they get a little older it is our job to teach them how to be kind caring careful empathetic smart little people. I really try to make all of our public outings learning experience. Seeing new people and new places, running through different scenarios at certain places and teaching them that while this world is scary and there are a lot of people who are sad and mad and scary, there are more people who are amazing and loving and that is what I want to show my children while preparing them as well! You can do it! It’s up to us to raise a new generation that can uplift our society😊
