7 month old ebf baby has no interest in food?

my 7 almost 8 month old is ebf since 6 months I've been trying her on solids and she just has no interest in really eating them anyone else having this problem? is it a problem? just need some advice from other bf mom's

totally normal. breast milk is all they need til 1 anyway. food at this stage is for learning and fun.

Not a problem. We're in same boat at 9 months. Doctor doesn't seem too worried. Keeps giving us suggestions to try.

Totally normal! Some kids don’t show much interest for years - the natural weaning age is anywhere from 2-7 years, so it can take that long for some children to really learn to enjoy or need much food. I would highly recommend baby led weaning if you’re ebf. It takes all the pressure off and is loads of fun, and you can learn what your baby likes and needs in terms of tastes and textures that way 😊👍🏻

Have you been trying table foods? Like offering small pieces of your own food to the baby? Or just baby food? My daughter showed interest in food early on but we didn’t start until 6 months. But she refused baby food but loved food from my plate. If you’re doing baby food, I’d suggest trying small pieces of actual food. Look into baby led weaning. That’s what we ended up doing and my daughter has been a great eater ever since.

My son wasn't really interested until more recently and he's 11mos. I would offer it but he didn't want more than a taste. He's more into the big people food and mommy's milk!
