Vagina Problems

I've been having itching and irritation and pretty but swelling with my vagina. it gets very painful and flares up at different times for a month now. I've been to the doctor twice and called the on calls like 5 or 6 times. I tested negative for bacteria and yeast infections, and now they are telling me it's a normal pregnancy thing. This is my second pregnancy and I never experienced any thing close to this the first time around. I know every pregnancy is different. I'm just wondering if any one else is experiencing this? I've had to miss work 3 or 4 times and can't even let underwear or water touch my labia sometime because it's so bad.
