How important is line progression?

I see a lot of you ladies posting photos of your line progression saying how good it is since it means your levels are getting higher. Today is the day AF is due and I got my BFP on the 19th. These past 3 tests still show a line but it doesn’t appear to be getting any darker. Is that good or bad? I took a cheap test today too and the line showed on that one. 
What do you guys think?

Mine were super faint for a week after my first faint line & then i stopped testing. It was too weak to get a positive on a digital. I have a healthy 10 week old so to me - I would take that as a positive pregnancy test UNLESS something else started to happen to make you doubt the pregnancy.

It should have definitely doubled by now. I’d see your GP IMMEDIATELY for bloods. Could be miscarrying, or chemical, phantom, super early or diluted pee. Crossing fingers xx

Update: I think I had a chemical. I had bad cramps last night and woke up this morning bleeding.

Its not important at all. Those tests aren’t designed to measure how much HCG you have, just whether or not you are pregnant. Blood work is completely unnecessary to confirm unless you have other medical issues (like low progesterone, for example) and will not affect your pregnancy. If we are going to miscarry, having blood work won’t

I’m curious how many dpo you are and how early you started testing. I personally encourage anyone to test until 24 hours after a missed period. Testing early can show you non-viable chemical pregnancies or early non-viable pregnancies we would otherwise never even know about.

Ask for blood test and have them measure your hcg every 48 hrs. Could mean nothing.

It doesn’t matter. Pregnancy tests are not designed for this - they typically do get darker, BUT, since concentration of hormones in your urine is constantly fluctuating, it can’t be relied upon. You can ask for your doc to monitor your levels, but they can’t do anything, so it’s kinda pointless.
