Type of ultrasound?

I have my first ultrasound this coming week. They have told me that it will require an empty bladder (🙄 which is going to be hard) .. what kind of ultrasound will this be? I usually see that people require a full bladder. I’ll be working all day and then will be running to the appointment so if it’s vaj I need to prep in the bathroom before hand 🤣

Thanks ladies. I’ll be 10 weeks. It’s just base protocol for the 10 week scan but they don’t specify what type it is.

Should I worry or why didn’t I have my first ultrasound vaginional.  I had it normal with a full blaster?

Depends . If they want an empty bladder transvaginal. All of mine even he first were abdominal , so I had a full bladder . Lol she actually made me empty it yesterday at my 21 weeks ultrasound so baby would move more and it worked . But with transvaginal they’ll have it stay empty I believe

First will be transvaginal - I had to empty mine at the office and it was still full when they did it! They want it as empty as possible because they push the wand down hard and it makes you feel like you’re gonna pee on them 😂
