Botox Nightmare ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
So a bit of backstory, I actually have been getting Botox for the past year for migraines. If you didnt know, Botox paralyzes where it’s injected for an average of about 3 months. My neurologist is board certified and injects Botox into my trigger spots for migraines so that they can’t contract when I get a migraine therefore reducing or completely eliminating the pain from one. Welllllll, I got my regular routine Botox on Monday and 3 days later I got eyelid ptosis. Basically I look like I have a permanent stink eye ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚. The doctor said its a super rare side effect and basically the Botox migrated from the injected site down to the muscle that controls my eyelid and paralyzed it. I’m stuck like this for up to 2 months. I successfully used allergy eye drops to slightly raise the lid a bit and some eyelash glue to give my lid a lift LOL. Does anyone know any other methods I can use?! It looks like I’ll need to start practicing if I’m going to look the same as before for the next month. ðŸ˜

This is before any drops or eyelash glue.

This is after I applied 2 drops and some eyelash glue LOL. You can see the creasing because it was a trial run and so it’s kinda sloppy but I don’t think it’s so noticeable if you don’t pay attention, right?
I’m mortified 😠lol. One thing is for sure I’m never getting Botox again. If this happens to anyone else Atleast you know you can try eyelash glue to lift your lids and allergy eye drops to open it up a little.
