Am I being petty?

So my MIL bought some girl scout cookies from this woman (her kid selling them) who my MIL tried to set up with my husband before he met me. About 2 months ago she asked me what kinda GS cookies I liked cos she was going to buy some boxes. Said I liked them coconut ones. Husband don't want none. Turns out she still talks to this girl despite my husband telling him to cut off ties with her because it ended badly and they never went out anyway. So now my and husband are married and have a 2 year old and I know he wouldn't eat the dame cookies if he knew where they came from and I low-key found out where they came from and want to throw them out now. Am I being petty or should I just eat the cookies... I feel bad she bought them but they feel tainted and I know my husband would be furious if he found out but I probably won't tell him because I don't want to start drama.
