MIL problems!

My partner of 5 years and I have a nearly 2 year old daughter together and want to move in together (we are 21 still living at home, we both hate it but haven't had the money for a home until now.) My mom is happy for me and has been helping me look around but my partners mum has something to say about every house we say we have looked at and like! I don't think she wants her son to move at all, she keeps mentioning areas that are super expensive that we have little chance of affording a home there and she knows that. Every home we like there's something wrong with it or the area. One of which is literally one street over but apparently it's a bad area and there's rats but she has happily lived here for years lol? She thinks every area is too dangerous it's starting to really bug me and I feel like just telling her to shut up! I've already told her we will move to where we see fit for our family but she just doesn't stop
