Does it really go away?

Does BV go away for good or would i have to keep treating it? My doctor hasnt really answered all my questions properly and i need to know more about it. I figured here would be a good place since i will be getting real experience advice. Can you ladies please help me out here. What are the steps i need to take to treat BV

Start taking a probiotic and eating refular plain yogurt. This helps to replenish the good bacteria in the vag to fight bv. Drs usually only give u anti iotic as a remedy but never encourgage probiotic to replenish the good bacteria.

It it’s not going away then you probably need another course of medicine

I had BV twice and they were 4 years apart and I haven’t gotten it since. I know we can be more susceptible to getting it again but it does go away once treated properly.
