In need of a friend and some advice....

Boyfriend cheated on me a year and a half into the relationship... don’t know if I’ll ever trust him again. It’s been 6 months since it happened and I feel like it hasn’t gotten better at all. I almost feel like my trust issues have gotten worse. Can couples make it through trust issues like this or is it a lost cause? To make matters worse I haven’t told any of my friends or family. Definitely in need of a friend right now... I’m reaching out to blogs like this for help now from strangers.
