Movement??

Question

Ok so I first felt flutters around 16 weeks... I’m now 19 weeks 4 days and I hardly feel the baby move. I feel like I should feel it moving more than I do 
Anyone else get this?

I just talked to my BFF about this - she has had three babies. I felt flutters Friday really quickly and haven’t felt them again. She said she felt flutters, too, right around the same gestational age I am (18 weeks tomorrow) and didn’t feel them again until 5 weeks later. Our babies are still really tiny, and a lot of the ability to feel movement is dependent upon where they are in the uterus. They have so much room to bounce around in there, and it can be especially hard if you have an anterior placenta. My doctor said not to worry if I don’t feel much before 25 weeks, and doctors don’t measure kicks until 28 weeks.

I don’t think I regularly felt mine until 22 weeks and still not super regular until 25 weeks they’re still really tiny so you just may not feel if they’re positioned different one day to the next!

I have an anterior placenta and didn't feel my baby move until I was 21-22 weeks! so it's normal to not feel much movement at 19 😊 movements didn't really start to pick up until around 26-27 weeks and like the other commenter said, kick counts aren't important until 28 weeks because that's when their movements start to regulate, I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow
