Can anyone explain in there best way what contractions feel like?

I’m beyond scared. A lot of people say it’s like cramping? I just wanna know in the most detailed way possible what it feels like.

mine felt like super bad period cramps but I honestly was expecting them to be worse. it didn't get really over the top painful till I was ready to push.

Mine felt like low down period cramps that you can feel coming and it just grows and grows for a minute and you’re just like “shiiiiiiit” and then it gently eases off and you’re just like “phew” til the next 😂

mine felt like underwear that was too small being pulled even tighter around my hips. it wasn't like the pain of a wound, more like when you're running a really long race and you're hitting the wall

Mine felt just like period cramps, I didn’t have tightening and the pains didn’t come in waves that I could have timed. It was just a constant cramping. I was induced though.

it's super hard to explain but here's my shot, to me it feels like everything inside me shriveling to the size of a golf ball while my stomach hardens like a rock, I also get them in my back and it feels like everything pulling into the center of my lower back
