I’m in love with a 46 year old man who already has 5 kids from different women, I’m a firm believer in being married and having kids, so I found out I was pregnant and we won’t be able to get married by the deadline I put in (3 months), that is because it’s the furthest one can go before having an abortion I believe. I’m torn ladies. He will be a dad for the 6th time. It’ll be my first and I’m not sure I’m ready to sacrifice my freedom and peace of mind just yet, on top of it I’m still in med school. Please help

Do not marry that guy. He’s a serial impregnater. I would, personally, get an abortion, you’re just going to become another used baby mama to him. Twenty is so young to throw your life away for this situation. My parents are 17 years apart so age gaps are fine, but I think there’s something suspicious about a 46 year old dating a 20 year old. Get out while you can.

He already has 5 kids, what is his relationships with them like? Can he afford another child? Does he want another child i mean 46 is pretty old anyway.

Honestly you guys both sound pretty selfish and irresponsible. Why have sex, especially with someone with a history like that, if you aren’t prepared to deal with a child? Ultimately the choice is yours, but I would ask you to really put some thought into this decision. And I would completely leave him out of the equation. He doesn’t sound reliable at all. Base your decision on you being a single parent, because that seems to be the reality. Sometimes we make bad choices but it doesn’t have to end that way. I got pregnant out of wedlock and my child turned out to be one of the greatest blessings of my life. It was scary at first, but we made it.

everyone has different opinions about abortion. personally, I'm 25 and still not ready for kids. at 20, i sure as hell wasnt ready for kids. i would've chosen abortion. i have next to no maternal instincts or experience with kids. i almost kicked a child in the head at Costco once. the most important things to consider are how you feel about kids and abortion and why he won't marry you and if you are ready
