How many of you go for regular std testing??

I want to start but I don’t want my partner fearing I don’t trust him. I do! But you can never be too sure

When I was single, I wouldn’t sleep with a partner (even with a condom) until we both got tested. To me- it’s worth it to wait and be safe and if it was too big of an inconvenience for my partner, then they weren’t worth my time. 
Take control of your sexual health. You only get one body and it’s worth the time and energy to protect it!

I go after every sexual partner. Idk how this translates for people who are more into the casual sex scene than me. But what I do is at the end of every relationship, I go get tested. And if I notice something odd during the relationship, I’ll usually go get tested then too just to be safe. 
It’s literally so easy to get tested and it just makes me feel more secure to know for a fact that everything’s okay.

I do 🙋🏽‍♀️ it’s a good idea and something that everyone should do. If your partner doesn’t see the importance then that’s his problem. Lots of women on here will tell you they found out they had an std from a partner they presumed to he faithful. They never got tested before or during the relation ship so they can’t pin point when they contracted it. 
I trust my fiancé as well. But I still go. It’s my health at stake

Just say you want to go just to be safe for the both of you. Suggest that you do it together as a team. My husband got clamydia from someone he slept with before we got together and he had no idea he had it. That is until I did my testing and found out I had gotten it. We both got treated and he was so ashamed and he felt awful that he didn’t know. Neither one of us had symptoms. And i had just gotten tested before we had started sleeping together so it was definitely a gift from him. I still make fun of him for it today. I was mortified at the time, but It’s not like he meant to give it to me. And luckily it was something easily treatable or else we probably wouldnt be married today.
