20 week anatomy scan

hi i have a quick question - so i scheduled my 20 week ultrasound and thought my doctor was gonna do it, but they told me a technician will do it and i cant ask any questions during the ultrasound and they wont be allowed to tell me anything? and then i have to schedule another dr appointment where the dr will go over the results with me? im so confused because i just moved here and at my other dr he did it and he was wonderful and explained everything right away?
