Measurements greater than dates ultrasound?😳

Throughout my whole pregnancy I’ve always measured right on track...until yesterday. I was told I’m now measuring 4.5 weeks ahead.🤦‍♀️ I don’t have GD, and didn’t gain a lot of weight so my doctor ordered a ultrasound to measure Baby. Obviously I know ultrasounds aren’t 100% accurate and can be off by quite a bit. But I was wondering if the ultrasound shows baby is larger, will my scheduled c-section date be moved?  Any other mommy’s had their dates changed this late? I’m 32 weeks btw.

I was always measuring on track, then at 35 weeks I was measuring a week ahead so they sent me for a growth scan and estimated baby to be 7lbs 12oz @ 35 weeks. Skip ahead to when she was born @ 37+3 she was 7lbs 10oz at birth.

I measured 3 weeks ahead from 24w on. It just means your baby may be a bit bigger, not that your due date is closer! Don't fret mama!

I measured a week ahead until 32 weeks then it was 3 weeks ahead. But what I’ve learned is it means NOTHING lol. Measurements are NOT accurate after 20 weeks dating scan. Does not mean baby is big and does not mean baby will come sooner. I delivered at 38 +6 and baby was 5 lbs! Not the 9 pounder they told me to expect!

I measured 4 weeks ahead at 29 weeks and now I’m measuring 2 weeks ahead at 33 weeks. It’s all a guessing game unfortunately lol I actually gained 6 pounds between 29 and 33 weeks. 🤷🏼‍♀️
