Feeling dumb!!!

Cutting to the chase here, period was 2nd-5th was suppose to ovulate around the 21st according to glow and just based on last few months...(seeing fertility doc 4 months now) ttc 16 cycles. Anyway I went in on the 14th for folli check and had one 26mm so my doc had me trigger. I’m just confused bc even without trigger I am assuming with that size wouldnt I have been ovulating soon? That’s a short follicular phase...will this effect me? Or am I ok since the egg was good size? I’m just ignorant when it comes to any of this! No clue. Thank you for looking! Still BFN so I am sure I’m out again! 😭
