Irritable Uterus

Hi all- so I just wanted to see if this is just me! Anyone else diagnosed with an irritable uterus ? I was a few weeks back, and I’ve continued to have contractions sometimes for hours at a time. Apparently they aren’t Braxton Hicks but also aren’t doing anything to dilate, basically they are just painful and uncomfortable !! I was kinda hoping it would mean my little one would be arriving early but everything I’ve read indicates that’s mostly not true lol! I’m 35 weeks now, and the thought of 5 more weeks of this isn’t thrilling ! Anyone else going through the same?
