Positive for STD

So yesterday I had an appointment with my OBGYN. It was my regular 4 week check up and also results for my glucose. Glucose blood test came out great thank god. But after, my doctor asked me if I have been sexually active with anyone else besides my partner. Obviously no I haven’t I don’t even want to have sex with my man ever since I got pregnant, not that I don’t want to but I just don’t get in the mood. Ok getting to the point, he said I was positive on an STD called Syphilis! Which to me was something that I would never expect. I don’t have any symptoms or anything that has to do with that STD. My fiancé hasn’t had sex with anyone else that I know so. He goes to work Mon-Sat and yes I’m for sure he is at work since he calls me all the time. Right after work he calls me and tells me he is on his way home. Doctor told me not to stress over it, that it might be a false positive. Which I hope so. But since he told me I haven’t been able to sleep, I’ve been stressed out. Crying praying to God it’s false positive. Doc send me again to get blood tested for STD I have been nothing but anxious to get the results. Has anyone else happen to go through this? Is there such think as a false positive test? I’m so confused! 😔

Fiancé got his blood results yesterday we both went together to his doc. Appointment and it came out NEGATIVE for STDS he is clean! Now just waiting on mines. Never have I felt so happy I knew he wasn’t cheating. ❤️
